Product Description
The Peygran LS Classic Stone Leveling Clip is specifically engineered for natural stone, thick-format porcelain, and heavy ceramic tiles ranging from 16mm to 25mm in thickness. With a precise 1mm (1/32") joint width, this system delivers the tight, clean grout lines that premium stone installations demand.
Unlike standard leveling clips designed for thinner tiles, the Stone clip features a taller profile (60mm height) and reinforced structure built from polyamide (nylon), providing the extra strength needed to handle the weight and thickness of stone slabs without flexing or breaking during installation.
Stone 1mm Clips: Each clip is manufactured from high-grade polyamide, a material chosen for its exceptional tensile strength and resistance to the alkaline environment of tile adhesives. The integrated 1mm spacer ensures hairline-thin joints that showcase the beauty of natural stone. Patented pre-cut break lines allow for fast, clean removal after the adhesive has cured — the clip snaps cleanly below the tile surface with a single lateral tap.
Dual Wedge Compatibility: The Stone clip is compatible with both the LS Classic narrow wedge and the LS Compact wedge system, giving installers flexibility to use whichever wedge best suits their project and tooling preferences.
Ideal Applications: Natural stone flooring (marble, granite, travertine, slate), thick-format porcelain panels, rectified large-format tiles, and any installation where tile thickness exceeds 16mm. The 1mm joint width meets the requirements of most natural stone installation guidelines.
Installation Process: Apply adhesive and position the stone tile. Place the Stone clip at the tile edge so the spacer tabs sit between adjacent tiles. Insert either a Classic narrow wedge or Compact wedge into the clip stem and tighten with pliers until both tiles are perfectly flush. After the adhesive has fully cured, remove the clips by tapping in the direction of the grout joint.
Important Safety Notes: Never attempt to remove wedges by pulling upward before breaking the clip stem, as this can dislodge heavy tiles. Do not place clips at tile corners to avoid chipping natural stone edges. Always respect the adhesive manufacturer's recommended curing time, which may be longer for thick stone installations due to reduced air exposure.
